We all know the value of Keyword in anchor text, at the same time most of the bloggers like Blog Commenting technique. But does the comment allow keyword as anchor text while we are making blog comments? I believe more than 90% blogs currently do not.
They allow only your name as anchor text (in the name field) which is increasing your name popularity (that’s true though) but not bringing any help for search engines. Because you might not want to rank a post high for your own name!
I bet that 99% blog owners (except keywordluv enabled blogs) will reject your comment for using a keyword in the name field rather than your own name.
So as a blog owner you can take the chance and enable Keywordluv plugin to attract your visitors to comment more!
What is Keywordluv Plugin
Keywordluv is basically a plugin introduced in 2008 that separates the keyword from your name while blog commenting so that your keyword will be used as anchor text with your website name.
Keyword luv works nicely with Commentluv plugin. And if you buy Commentluv premium (aff. link) plugin you will get Keywordluv integrated with Commentluv.
The plugin should be used with dofollow blogs only, means you should make your blog comments dofollow prior to use it, otherwise the commenter will not get any ranking benefit from nofollow Keyword.
How to install Keyword luv Plugin
- Visit Keywordluv link and download.
- Upload the plugin and activate it.
- Adjust the settings from Dashboard > Settings > Keyword luv.
One disadvantage is that using this plugin may attract more spammers as well. I suggest using GASP plugin with Keyword Luv plugin to fight better with spam.
